Concert Report

Whitley Boudreaux Music 1010 Concert Report I attended a live concert that took place in November 16th at ULLs Ducrest-Gilfrey auditorium. The programme was divided into two sections. It started at 7:30 p.m. and ended around 9:30 p.m. It was a free concert to the public. The first selection was a experience guitar ensemble. The director of the group is Dr. Jeffery George who plays the guitar. Seven instruments were in this section of the concert. Nico Guiang, Banne r Driskell, and John Courville all play the guitar. Tyler Sonnier was the only bass thespian. shucks Langlinais was the only drummer. There was in any case one piano musician by the name of Donald Miller. These guys performed iv meters. The four crys were performed. The first margin call was Stompin at 3 a.m. written by Stan Fang. The stand by numbers was Kinda Cool written by Carl Amundson. The 3rd song was Stolen Moments written by Oliver Nelson. Finally the last song dance Stop Shuffle and writt en by Charles Mingus. on the all told the medicament that was playing during this ensemble was upbeat save did not defy loud dynamics. During the song, Boogie Stop Shuffle individually performer has a free styled solo. I genuinely enjoyed hearing to this medical specialty because it had a fast temp but yet the medicinal drug was still soft. I also enjoyed listening to performers freestyle. I impression that was very interesting. Even though I enjoyed this first half, I thought they could have performed better. all a few of the performers was really enthusiastic. I thought the whole group should have been. When in that location was mistake, you could tell because they do it known to the audience by reservation faces. I wasnt really moved by their performance. The second selection of the program was a jazz combo called An level of Tenor violence. The director, Robert Lucky, played the alto saxophone. There were four performers in this group. obtain Hopkins an d Zach Rhea both played the drums and vibrap! hone.
